Spines are great but they also attach to the rest of you so that's why we cater our approach from the ground up. many times a low back issue is caused by damaged ankles, weak muscles or poor technique. simarily, you can't have a neck problem without the shoulders being involved as well. simply put, we are more than a spinal column so we treat more than the spine.

Digital xrays: we perform in house xrays for a variety of reasons but most bluntly, we refuse to "guess" if your condition is serious. xrays are a brilliant tool to help the doctor and the patient understand completely what the correct course of treatment might be.

Extremity adjusting: we treat everything from ankle sprains to arthritis, no matter where it is on your frame. Your spine doesn't exist in a vacuum. Everything is related because everything is connected. we are in the business of fixing humans, not just the spot that hurts the most right now.

variety of adjusting styles: we are proficient at manual adjusting, drop table, activator ( the clicky thing that doesn't hurt) cranial-sacral, and pre/post-natal care.

Custom rehab protocols for every patient: we will create a home rehab program for you to help speed up your recovery. we won't waste your time with stupid exercises that were created in the 80's during a jazzercise conference. IT WILL BE DIFFICULT BUT EFFECTIVE.

Instrument assisted Soft tissue Manipulation (IASTM): it's fancy speak for a targeted massage that breaks up scar tissue, allows for better movement and alleviates pain quickly.

Gait analysis: We treat a lot of athletes (tri and otherwise!) and find that foot strike, heel whip, hip circumduction and unlevel pelvis often go untreated because there isn't a massive problem yet. We look at shoe patterns, squat form, running videos and not uncommonly, will teach you how to walk correctly again.

Stretching: admitedly, I hate stretching but there is some utility to it. We prefer Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitated (PNF) style stretching in office for patients with hyperfacilitated or "tight" muscles.

Rocktape: Taping is a brilliant way to speed up your recovery of damaged joints. Ankles, knees and shoulders are our favorite joints to brace so that you can continue to compete.

Electrostim: Not as barbaric as it sounds! research has shown that E-stim has been shown to reduce pain and thus the need for pain pills for both acute and chronic conditions. and it kinda looks like an old ipod so that's fun.
