Dr. Zach Simkins
Chiropractor
Zachary Simkins received his doctor of chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta, Ga. He received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI where he was awarded a Bachelor's of Biomechanics and Kinesiology. As a former professional rugby player Dr. Zach found that integrating adjustments as well as corrective exercises was the best way to ensure permanent solutions to his vast array of injuries rather than merely symptom relief. This philosophy has allowed him to work with Olympians, former and current professional athletes as well as the general population that is ready to put in the work, starting from the literal ground up to assess feet, knees and shoulders and NOT just the spine. Dr. Simkins has 16+ years of experience in physical therapy, strength/conditioning and Structural Correction care which incorporates exercise and mobility rehab, gait analysis, posture correction and injury prevention. When not at the office he can be found raising his 3 wild children with his bride Anne, coaching the U of M Rugby team and tinkering with wood working projects.
Dr. Tyler Beck
Chiropractor
Tyler Beck received his doctor of chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He received his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH where he was awarded a Bachelor’s of Quality Systems Technology. As a United States Air Force Veteran, he was also awarded an Associates of Avionics Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force in Montgomery, AL. Although passionate about troubleshooting and working on complex radar systems, he found the most rewarding part of his job to be educating new Airmen and working with people. Ultimately, he decided to pursue a career in service to others through structural correction of biomechanical imbalances, combining the worlds of troubleshooting/repair and education. His philosophy is rooted in the combination of corrective adjustments and therapeutic exercise, to ensure root cause correction, as opposed to focusing on symptom relief alone. This approach makes him well suited to work with athletic populations as well as the general population, so long as they are ready to put in some work. Be ready for a whole body approach, integrating feet, ankles, knees, hips, and shoulders, NOT just the spine. Dr. Beck has experience in physical therapy, chiropractic manipulation, soft tissue modalities, injury rehabilitation/prevention, and structural correction. When not at the office he is spending time with his wife Alissa, working on automotive projects, riding motorcycles, or continuing his education in the field of functional nutrition.
